Melbourne’s premier melodramatic hard-rock hook-machine (and hot boi band).

From the concrete playgrounds of Melbourne’s inner north, KaKu is the enduring heavy-set composition of Ben Schier, Dan Bergowicz and Andrew Cossey. The trio have been not so quietly moving through venues for over half a decade and are set to release their debut EP on 1 July 2020. Recorded, mixed and mastered by Julian Schweitzer, the debut EP is a product of a

long musical relationship which explores brooding and introspective ballads along with riff-laiden jams and deep hooks. The lead single “Shards’ explores foreboding global crises and is the groups first video single, directed by Alex Galvin.

Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia. It is a paradisematic country, in which roasted parts of sentences fly into your mouth.A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia.
